Dynamix
Dynamix is an outstanding vocal ensemble of about 12 teens ages 13-17. Great emphasis is placed on excellent singing and fun, energetic performances. Our repertoire includes a cappella doo-wop and pop standards. We produce an exciting and beautiful Christmas concert every December in the Broomfield Auditorium. Dynamix performs for a variety of organizations and our performance fee depends on the nature of the venue

Auditions for Dynamix are held two times a year - in August and in January. Audition requirements are:
-singing the Star-Spangled Banner in tune
-demonstrating aural recall skills
-singing harmony to a simple tune
-being able to sing with feeling and with facial expression
Dynamix singers continually work on:
-breathing correctly
-vowel formation
-correct vocal production
-high-energy and expressive performances
-professional stage behaviors
-microphone techniques
-teamwork
Dynamix meets on Wednesdays from 4:15-6:15 during the school year at the home of the director (near Jeffco Airport).
Preparation for rehearsals will include practicing with a practice CD until the parts are known well.
The monthly tuition fee is $80. There is also a one-time, refundable music deposit of $20.
